Brit Joe Scott is living the movie-star dream: a house in the Hollywood hills, beautiful girls at his feet and staff indulging his every whim. When his childhood friend suddenly dies, Joe goes back to England for the funeral. But when he arrives back home he is confronted by his past and the regret of a lost love. Memories of his teenage years spent with his sweetheart Ruth come flooding back, as do the reasons for his leaving England in the first place. He now has the chance to make up for the last thirty years.
