Get the Picture is about the remarkable life and work of John G Morris, the revered journalist, picture editor of Life Magazine and one of the last living journalists involved in the D-Day Normandy landings. He worked alongside many of the greatest names in 20th Century photography including Magnum founders Henri-Cartier Bresson and Robert Capa. John worked at Life magazine during some of the most turbulent and pivotal moments in the course of 20th Century history, including the Spanish Civil War and World War II, and provides a distinct insight into the power of photography.
